Case Simulation: Cost-effectiveness

Objective: To evaluate the comparative clinical and cost-effectiveness of alternative treatments for a selected type of cancer

Approach: Conduct systematic literature review to inform the model/ Collaborate  with physician key opinion leaders to build a local Markov model  to investigate the comparative clinical and cost effectiveness/ Develop the model and conduct sensitivity analyses

Output: Manuscript for publication in peer-reviewed journal and abstracts to submit to ISPOR

Audience: Clinicians, policy community, Medicare, private payers

Use by Client: To demonstrate the clinical and economic value of the product.  Client can use study results to educate policymakers and payers on value of their product and wide variation in reimbursement for selected type of cancer therapies
