Dr. Dabbous has more than 25 years of leadership and strategic experience in clinical practice, medical affairs, health economics and outcomes research, HTAs, Pharmaco-epidemiology, biostatistics, investigator initiated research, clinical trials, and international disease registries and real world data in academia, medical device, biotech, and pharmaceutical settings.  Dr Dabbous held many senior positions in the HEOR discipline. He was the head of the Centre of Excellence for Value Evidence Analytics function at GlaxoSmithKline with global remit. Prior to joining Glaxo SmithKline he led the global health economics and outcomes research, registries, and phase IV studies at Takeda, the Pharmaco-epidemiology and Registry activities at J&J, and the Biostatistics/Epidemiology/Data Management and Analytics Departments at University of Massachusetts Medical School.  Dr Dabbous held a number of industry and academic positions and is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Pharmacy, University of Illinois, Chicago, and was the GSK representative at the EFSPI HTA-SIG in Europe.  He is and author and co-author of more than 250 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Dabbous trained at Monastir School of Medicine in Tunisia, before taking his MPH at the University of Massachusetts School of Public Health.  He also has a Diploma in International Health and Medicine of Catastrophe from Tours Medical School in France, Certificates in Health Economics and Outcomes Research from Harvard University, Harvard School of Public Health, and Certificates in Business Marketing Strategy and Marketing Healthcare Products from Kellogg’s School of management, North-western University. He is fluent in 4 languages.
