Health Outcomes Measurement, Epidemiology, PROMs and PREMs

Dr. Al Sayah is a health outcomes researcher at the School of Public Health, University of Alberta, and is the research manager of the Alberta PROMs and EQ-5D Research and Support Unit (APERSU). Dr. Al Sayah holds a PhD in Public Health, and has over 12 years of epidemiological and clinical research experience. Her work focuses on measurement of health outcomes including clinical outcome measurement, patient-reported outcome and experience measures (PROMs and PREMs), preferences measurement, and psychometrics. Dr. Al Sayah serves as a consultant methodologist on several health outcome measurement projects in Canada and internationally. She is a member of the EuroQol Group, has over 40 publications, and is a regular reviewer for Quality of Life Research, Value in Health and Medical Decision Making journals.
